Slik Helvetika, one of the heaviest bands to come out of the Philadelphia rock scene, is set to return on December 5, 2025, with a new single titled "Solar Head." This track offers a glimpse of what fans can anticipate from their 2026 full-length album, 'Walk Through Fire,' which will be released via Deko Entertainment.
Michael Myers, the band's long-time singer, guitarist, and songwriter, describes "'Solar Head' as starting with an eerie real recording of solar wind before exploding into intense, high-energy metal." He explains that the song is about a massive coronal ejection capable of engulfing everything in its path—a mass extinction-level event.
"What if the energy from this event had its own consciousness? Let's explore that idea. Even better, let's create a full-throttle heavy metal anthem centered on this extinction-level event, using some deliberately aggressive clichés and lyrics! The Atomic Killpig dominates this world!”
